The buttons protrude from the device for easy click and selection and do not get stuck or sticky like iPods we have used in the past. It’s got a large play/pause button in the middle with volume and track selection buttons surrounding it and a playlist button on the upper right allows you to toggle through playlists. The controls are almost identical to that of an iPod shuffle so it was easy to functionally operate. Mighty is sweat and water resistant so we thought we’d give it a go.Ĭompared to the older generation iPod minis we’re used to using, the Mighty is substantially bulkier not a problem for everyday use or working out, but we did notice the bulge against our chest when we stuffed it down our wetsuit. We’ve been looking for a music player that allows us to access Spotify and stream our music while out on the water but until Mighty, there hasn’t been an option for us kitesurfers as we’re not likely to attempt to take our smartphones on the water.
